FEATURE: Monica Louise Coronel ♪

Hello guys! If you're reading this, massive thank you. You've been absolutely incredible. So lately, we've been talking to several humble people on the street teams and we met a very nice officer from Katie Sky's Official Street Team here in the Philippines. We got the chance to interview her about her thoughts on random things like music, so we hope you guys like it! :D

BE: Hello there ;) So to start the interview, tell us a bit about yourself.. :)

M: I'm Monica Louise Coronel {Styles oops jk}, I'm 14 years old, a freshman from SPCP and I like reading, listening to music, and I also write a bit :)

BE: Since you mentioned listening to music, what are your thought about people writing music?

M: Well it depends on the person I guess. Most of them write really good music with very relatable lyrics but some just write nonsense. I really appreciate those who write good and meaningful music (like Ed Sheeran, the 1D team and Katie of course) because they bring back the true meaning of music :)

BE: Oh. That's great :) Do you think songs help people cope up with their problems and express how they feel these days?

M: Yes, I do. A lot of people nowadays tweet song lyrics to express their feelings and to have to say that I am one of them.

BE: Hahaha you're pretty amazing AND friendly you know? :) Next question? :)

M: Wow gosh thank you :) Go ahead.

BE: So what's your favorite song as of the moment? :)

M: It would probably be I Would by 1D cause it's really catchy and it actually has a meaning haha :)

BE: Hahaha yeah :) Another question.. How does it feel to be on a street team? :)

M: It's a very big honor to be in a street team because it is a way for me to help people be closer to their idols. Just thinking about being part of Katie Sky PH makes me feel giddy because it has always been my dream to be part of a street team.

BE: Awww. What does it take to be on a street team in the first place.? :)

M: It depends, actually, but most of the time, you have to send an application and answer some questions and just wait for the results :) If rver you get picked, you have to be prepared and pit your heart into whatever you are doing to make the street team a success :)

BE: Awww :') Thank you so much for all of that and letting us interview you. Do you want to say something to all the readers? ;)

M: Hi !! :) I don't really know what to say but thank you for the support and if you don't know who Katie is, I suggest you research about her cause she's amazing! Yeah, no one really knows who I am but talk to me anytime on @katiesky_ph or @Monica_Louise :) That's about it, I guess :) Thanks again and ship HarMonica ;) haha much love for all of you !! :)

BE: Okay that was good. Thank you! Do you mind making a fan sign for us with British Explosions on it? :)

M: Sure and oh thank you for interviewing me, I'm really honored :)

BE: Haha, welcome xx

So, did you like it? No. You love it. Haha! I think you should all follow her because you can really talk to her and everything! Support Katie too! Xx

FEATURED: Therese Gabrielle Santos ♪

Hi everybody! How are you all? :) x In line with our new look and everything, we have another good news! We got the chance to interview Therese Gabrielle Santos (Gabe for short) from the Cher Lloyd Philippines! Yey! *insert cheers here* They're a bunch of humble and awesome people really so check them out on Twitter and chat with them sometime :) On with the interview... x

Hey! Thank you for giving us time today. We all know you're busy and everything so thank you for letting us interview you! :)

Gabe: no problem, it would be my pleasure :)

Okay so i will start asking you know, ready? :)

Gabe: ready as I'll ever be :)

Okay so, how do you feel about people looking up to Cher Lloyd here in the Philippines?

Gabe: I like it. I like how a lot of Filipinos find her as a role model and admire her like I do :)

That's great! So what's the feeling getting to 'serve' them since you're part of the CLPH? :)

Gabe: I love being part of CLPH! I love having that sense of responsibility and somehow being the bridge between Cher and the FilBrats :)

That's really sweet. Haha :) So what do you think the we can all get and learn from Cher Lloyd's lovely songs?

Gabe: I think that we can all definitely learn that it's okay to stand out. That being unique is perfectly fine. Also, I think we can learn that we shouldn't let the haters get us down, I mean, haters gonna hate, right? :)

Yes definitely. Since you mentioned 'haters'. I'm going to ask you some life questions, is it okay?

Gabe: of course, go for it :)

So how do you deal with haters yourself? How do you feel about getting them?

Gabe: honestly, I haven't got much haters (yet) which I am wry grateful for. Although there have been some encounters, I just try to shrug it off. I try not to let it sink in too much. I'm one of those people who get affected easily, so when I get "hate" I really just try to ignore it.

That's good. So any advice for people who get hate?

Gabe: Just keep your head held high. Don't let them get to you, they're probably just jealous. Don't forget to smile, smile because you can :)

Aww. What about love? Any advice about it? :)

Gabe: oh love :) well I guess I'm too young and at a loss on experience, so I can't give much out. But I believe that if its meant to be, it'll find away. (Does that count as advice? I'm not good at advice) :(

That was awesome! Haha :) Thank you so much for today. Thanks for letting us feature you. We love you so much. last message for everyone?

Gabe: aw, I should be the one saying thank you :) last message for everyone? "Keep calm, Live free, Be you, let it be" :) and don't forget to support Cher Lloyd! :) *I just had to do that*

Thank you very much! Thanks for your dedication and everything :) Do you mind making a fan sign that has British Explosions for us? :)

The end. *fake crys* Hahaha this is not the end guys! You can still talk to her and go crazy with her by following and talking to her on twitter! It's @theresesantos_

Hi again awesome people! I'm very blessed to interview Jia Acelajado from the CHER LLOYD PH TEAM! Yey! So here it is.. x

Hey. Thanks for accepting our offer to be a feature. I know you're busy so thank you so much for your time. *wink wink* So, let's start? :)

Jia: Yeah sure! ;)

Okay so how does it feel to be part of a Philippine Street Team?

Jia: When I found out I was accepted, I screamed for forever.I'm really happy to be in the team, and I'm honoured to serve other brats out there.

That's nice! ;) So how does your parents react to it since we all have school and studies to focus on?

Jia: Well my mom didn't find it bothering since I'm a smart kid (not bragging), and she was happy that I finally found something else to do. :)

Hahaha :) What made you fall in love to Cher Lloyd except for her loveliness and charm in the first place?

Jia: Since the start, I fell in love with her ability to keep her head up, to have this 'swag' in her, EVERYTHING! :)

That's awesome hahaha :) Is it okay if we'll be a little personal? Don't worry, just a little bit.

Jia: Hit me with a bat, hey batter SWING! :) jk.

Since Cher Lloyd released Oath, what do you think she's trying to tell us Brats?

Jia: That she LOVES us fans and it's what keeps her going. She's our best friend, when we're feeling down, she's there without being there. :) It's the spirit. :)

What about you? What do you think a best friend should say,do and act?

Jia: A best friend will be there, always. I want her to be there in my crazy ideas, even if it shouts trouble. I want her to see all the sides of me without doubting her liking to me. :))

That's very sweet. So next question.. :) What is the most amazing thing you've done for the Cher Lloyd PH Team? :)

Jia: Oh! This is hard... But I was the one who contacted Ivory for our task to be official. :) And for the Album Attack, we all did promos. :)

Truly amazing. ;) That's great. So last is, a little message for those lovely Brats out there.

Jia: To all the brats, you're the reason Cher continues despite hate, keep it up, you're her inspiration and NEVER think she doesn't care. She does. And make her your inspiration. :)) Love you guys. :)

Thank you so much for doing this. It means a lot to Raffi (my partner) and I. Do you mind making a fan sign for us? :)

It's in his #DNA♪

Hi awesome people! Have you heard of the lovely British group named Little Mix ? If no, read this! If yes, read this too :) x

So Little Mix is a Pop-RnB-Hip Hop British Group consists of four amazing members, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall. They auditioned for The X Factor as soloists but didn't make it so they were luckily put together as group by one of the judges, obviously. (Raffi, help me hahaha) They first named themselves as Rythmix then changed it to Little Mix afterwards. They were signed under Syco and still climbing up the US and UK charts from 2011 to present.
(littlemix.com , wikipedia.org/LitleMix)

So basically, Raffi and I suggest that you all should check them out on YouTube. Their song 'Wings' and 'DNA' is absolutely incredible. They sing for what they believe and they make really catchy songs. There is no excuse that you shouldn't check them out.

Also, follow them on twitter! It's @LittleMixOffic so you'll be updated. They're very sweet and we hope that you'll support them. For Filipinos, follow the amazing Little Mix street team, @LittleMixPHIL :)

Oh my gosh! So, I've got to interview the KATIE SKY! I am so honored to interview her. I found out about her on YouTube. (isn't youtube just some helpful tool like thing?!) And I want to introduce to you guys:
KATIE SKY!!!

1. So Katie, your an awesome and inspiring artist. What/who is your inspiration?
Everything inspires me! I can get inspiration from a book, from certain situations i go through, from people, from other music, from going on a long walk etc. Many things can start me scribbling down lyrics for a new song :)

2. Will you be touring all over the globe? Philippines wants to meet you Katie! :3
I have such an AMAZING and supportive group of followers from the Philippines and so yes, i do hope to come out there at some point, perform for you and meet you all! I would love that!

3. In your song Sweet Melodies. What was the story behind the song?
I wrote Sweet Sweet Melody about my Love/Hate relationship with song writing. Sometimes i can sit down for hours at my piano and not come up with anything! Whereas sometimes i can sit down and write a song in half an hour and it comes really easily and thats the BEST feeling in the world! It feels like home :)

4. How are you enjoying meeting your fans? :)
I love meeting my Sky Divers! Its so good to meet the people who support me and encourage me daily, its overwhelming but i love keeping that connection there so people can get to know me.

5. Anything else to say to you fans who are reading this right now? :)
Just this -  THANKYOU! I can't believe the amount of support i've had over the last year and a half! I will continue to make good music and be me :) Thats all for now!

Katie is just beautiful! And y'all need to listew to her right now! :)

FEATURE: Helen Steiro ☯

Hey guys! I'm so honored to have interviewed, 1DPH's president and a friend of mine, ate Helen Steiro!
So I hope you guys enjoy this interview as much as I did interviewing her!

1.      You are an officer for 1DPH and also a student. How do you balance time with school and planning for events?

Balancing tasks is one of the hardest things to do for me, considering that I am in my first year of college (I have to adjust to the chaos of it all) and taking up Biology (It’s not that easy!). I try to discipline myself and lighten my load by making sure that I have my schoolwork done or at least have a schedule for completing it before going to meetings or events.

2.      This is a bit sensitive, but how do your parents feel about 1D?

My parents don’t have a problem with me being a part of One Direction Philippines and are supportive, but they do make sure that I am steering myself in the right direction and always keeping my academic responsibilities in mind. Their support does not include spoiling me with 1D merchandise though, which is kind of a bummer for me, but I respect that.

3.      What is that one thing that made you love 1D?

As opposed to their famous song lyric “you’ve got that one thing”, making me point out that one thing is impossible because I absolutely love EVERYTHING about the boys. Having the looks, the charm, the talent, and many other things—what is there not to love? They’re perfect!

4.      Back to question 1 what are some tips you would give for managing time?

Self-discipline is very important. I know how it feels to be loaded with work and sometimes, we just give up and become really lazy, putting leisure first and cramming at the last minute. However, you have to remember that if you want to achieve something, you’re not going to get it with the wrong attitude. If you have trouble starting with tasks, remember that the best way to begin is to BEGIN—no reasons or excuses. Make a checklist and start with the easiest ones. You’ll be rewarded with the feeling of accomplishment in the end, trust me!

5.      You and your fellow officers talked to 1D on the phone. What were the highlights of the phone call?

Actually, Ate Jeline (VP of 1DPH & @GotToBe1D on twitter) got to talk to the boys. Lucky!

6.      How does it feel to be a president of the official One Direction Philippine fan club?

On normal days, I don’t feel like the president unless someone mentions it. I am a fan like everyone else and I am no different from any other directioner out there. Although I may sound a bit bigheaded saying this, whenever I see all the Juan Directioners at events, I feel extremely proud not only of myself but my other co-officers and One Direction Philippines entirely. Who knew that the little fan page I started would be this big?

7.      Why did you think of making a Philippine street team for 1D?

After knowing and fangirling over One Direction for quite some time, I realized that my sleeping pattern gone more bonkers since my twitter friends mostly lived in Europe and the U.S.. I wanted to find other Filipinos who shared the same love for One Direction, so one day, I decided to make a fan page for us—a place where we could share our love for the boys. At this very moment, our number is at 121, 083 so I think my plan of finding other Juan Directioners was a success!

8.      How do you plan for the fan parties and album launches?

We (the officers) usually have meetings with representatives from Astroplus and Ivory Music and Video, everyone puts in their suggestions, and eventually everything comes together forming an event!

9.      Thanks for your time. Were so happy to have had interiewed you.

Thank you so much for having me, Raffi and Ali!

10.  Anything else to say?

I would just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for the support you give to One Direction and One Direction Philippines. The efforts we put into 1DPH surely pay off whenever we see you all so happy. We love you all so much and this street team wouldn’t exist without all of you guys. The officers don’t make One Direction Philippines a street team—you do.
